Clown On Globe Mechanical Bank Cast Iron Very Rare

Welcmoe to key international marketing auctions. ===collectible mechinacal bank ===. If you collect mechaniacl banks, or cast iron banks, you will want to pay real close attention to this one.
This is teh clown on globe cast iron mechanical bank. It is a jamse d capron collection reproduction bank. I am told it dates back to the mid 40's but cannot find any dates on it os i am not sure. I do know we acquierd 2 banks from the same collection and the other dates back to the early 1950's so the information i have is probably correct. This bank is similar in quality to hte book of knowledge banks. It may even be better quality judging from appearance. Book of knowldege banks were produced by john wright (pennsylvania) from circa 1950 until 1975. Book of knowledge banks are very collectible nad command good prices today. They make a fnatastic substitute for the high (unaffordable to most) prices for the originals. The last example of this bank that i could find, and nowheres near this condition, but original sold at auction went for over $15,000.00! Thsi bank is a handcrafted, hand-painted bank that duplicates the original. This bnak is extremely very well crafted and not to be confused with the cast iron banks that came out of taiwan in the late 90's and early 2000's. General price range on book of knowledge banks in schroeder's runs between $250.00 and $500.00, so you can see this one is fairly priced, and will make a fine addition to your collection or a great start to colelcting cast iron banks. Overall condition of this old bank is above excellent. This is probably the fienst example of this bank i have ever acquired. We acquired 2 cast iron mechanical banks that i will list tonight from an estate in coconut grove. Both banks were gifts given ot children of the estate.
This is the first time they have left the home they came from since they were acquired. You will readily be able to tell that from the condition when you see this bank!
This bank is very hard to find in any condition and i could not find one thta sold on ebay to compare. I did find one that sold in a pennsylvania auction a few years ago and that one sold for $950.00! nAd the condition was nowheres near this bank. This is as fine an example as oyu will ever acquire.
I will start the bidding at much less than the above selling prices for a much better bank. This would be na exceptional christmas gift for the season, and we can gaurantee delivery by christmas if the bank is paid for immediately after the auction. If you collect cast iron mechanical banks, or want to start a collection, or upgrade your collection, do not hesitaet to bid here. You definitely also will want to check my other auction tonight for a magician's bank bankwe will be listing. Happy holidays.
